Crowne Plaza Syracuse is Hiring a Food and Beverage Supervisor Near Syracuse, NY
- Participates in the recruitment, selection, and training of staff
- Supervise food and beverage staff, overseeing AM and PM Front of House staff
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely, friendly and efficient manner according to departmental guidelines
- Assist with monthly inventory
- Oversee food service, and act as an expeditor, when necessary, to ensure the timely movement of completed food orders from kitchen to customer table
- Works closely with Food and Beverage Manager to ensure standards, policies and procedures are met
- Take meal orders, explain menu items and serve food and beverage items to guests tables and follow hygienic food practices at all times
- Supplying, dispensing or mixing of beverages, cleaning of bar areas and equipment, preparing the bar for service, taking beverage orders and serving drinks
- Ensure departmental policies and procedures are implemented and followed and schedules/checklists are completed according to requirements
- Operate POS system and take payment for guest accounts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
